What's good:

Our Recommendation
We use St. Brendan's Isle and it's GoodKit Approved. It's not the cheapest. The website looks like it was built during the Obama administration. There's no app. But in years of use, they've never lost a piece of mail, the scanning works, the forwarding works, and the staff understands what it means to be unreachable for days at a time on a boat.
If you need a specific state or location, compare the providers that serve it and confirm your requirements before signing up.

How to Switch
If you already have a mail service and want to switch:
- Set up the new service first — get your new address
- Update your address with the USPS (change of address form)
- Update critical accounts: bank, insurance, DMV, IRS
- Keep the old service running for 3-6 months to catch stragglers
- Cancel the old service only after mail stops arriving there
Don't rush it. Missing a piece of mail from your insurance company or the IRS is not something you want to deal with from a marina in the Dominican Republic.
